Herndon Inge, Jr., of Mobile, Alabama, fought in World War II from 1943-45. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge, where he was captured by the Germans and was a Prisoner of War. He has written numerous articles detailing his war experience. A work in progress is an autobiography of his life. He earned a Purple Heart, and a Bronze Star Medal for his service.

I am very proud to have known and practiced law with Judge Inge. He was a gentleman and a scholar and a significant presence in the legal community for many years. I think of him often and have fond memories of him.
